My Bio

I grew up in Kalama, Washington. It's a small town but with one really big "claim to fame". The Twilight movies were filmed there, at my high school. I attended Central Washington University and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences. Later I attended the University of Idaho and earned my Master's Degree in Special Education. I have taught in the Boise School District for 13 years, and in Manassas, Virginia for 2 years. This is my 4th year teaching with ICON School. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, mountain bike riding, skiing, camping, backpacking, making beaded jewelry, and live music.
